Unlike the usual 128x64 OLEDs, this display features 16 levels of grayscale, providing a crisp, detailed image while maintaining the high contrast typical of OLED screens. Each pixel is individually controlled, and no backlight is necessary since the display generates its own light, helping to conserve power.
The SSD1327 driver chip supports both I2C and SPI communication, making it versatile and compatible with various microcontrollers. It requires a 3.3V and 12V power supply, with level shifting for compatibility with 3V or 5V devices.
