The Sensirion Temperature/Humidity sensors are some of the most accurate devices available, now with a true I2C interface for easy reading. The SHT31-D sensor offers an impressive ±2% accuracy for relative humidity and ±0.3°C accuracy for temperature, making it perfect for a wide range of applications. The version now includes a PTFE filter, which ensures the sensor stays clean while providing accurate humidity measurements.
Unlike previous SHT sensors, the SHT31-D features a true I2C interface and even offers two address options. It is also compatible with both 3V and 5V systems, making it easy to power and communicate with using nearly any microcontroller or microcomputer.
To simplify your setup, we've created a custom PCB with the SHT31-D sensor, along with the necessary supporting circuitry like pullup resistors and capacitors. The PCB uses the STEMMA QT form factor, which is designed for easy interfacing. The STEMMA QT connectors on both sides are compatible with SparkFun Qwiic I2C connectors, allowing for solderless connections between your development board and the SHT31-D. You can also chain the sensor with other devices using a compatible cable (QT Cable is sold separately).
Each order includes one fully assembled and tested PCB breakout, along with a small piece of header. The header needs to be soldered onto the PCB for use with a solderless breadboard, a simple task that takes only a few minutes, even for beginners.
