Adafruit Terminal PiCowbell for Pico with Pre-Soldered Sockets - Reset Button & STEMMA QT

£14.50 GBP Sale

The Adafruit Terminal PiCowbell is a versatile accessory designed to enhance your Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico W projects, offering convenient hardware for easy prototyping. It features screw terminal blocks for each GPIO pin, making it simple to connect solid or stranded core wires directly to your Pico, ideal for quick wiring without the need for soldering.

Key Features:

  • Screw Terminal Blocks: With 40 screw terminal blocks (four 10-pin blocks), this board allows you to connect 18~26 AWG wires to every GPIO pin on the Pico or Pico W for fast and reliable connections.
  • Pre-soldered Socket Headers: The PiCowbell comes with pre-soldered socket headers, making it plug-and-play for easy integration with your Pico or Pico W board.
  • I2C / Stemma QT / Qwiic Connector: A JST SH connector provides a convenient connection for I2C or other devices using the Stemma QT or Qwiic systems, with pins for 3V, GND, SDA (IO4), and SCL (IO5). There’s also an extra set of breakout holes for additional I2C connections or GPIO reassignments.
  • Additional Breakout and Breadboard Area: The board includes 12 rows of 4-hole connected strips that can function like a mini breadboard for even more flexibility in your project design.
  • Easy Grounding and Power Distribution: Ground pads are clearly marked with white silkscreen rectangles for easy identification, and there’s a long ground strip near the reset button. A dedicated strip provides easy access to 3.3V power.
  • Gold-Plated Pads: All the pads are gold-plated for reliable and easy soldering connections.

While I2C pullups are not included on the board, many I2C devices such as Qwiic or Stemma QT boards come with pullups integrated, so you don't need to worry about additional components. When using CircuitPython or MicroPython, you'll need to specify IO4 and IO5 as the SDA and SCL pins in your code.

Perfect for quick and reliable connections, the Terminal PiCowbell is an ideal tool for prototyping and expanding your Raspberry Pi Pico projects.
