Introducing the AD8495 K-type thermocouple amplifier from Analog Devices, an easy-to-use analog output amplifier designed to work seamlessly with K-type thermocouples. This compact and simple sensor requires just a microcontroller with analog input capability to start measuring temperature. Power it with 3-18V DC and measure the output voltage from the OUT pin. The temperature can be calculated using the formula: Temperature = (Vout - 1.25) / 0.005V. For example, if the output voltage is 1.5V, the temperature is 50°C.
This fully assembled board comes with:
The AD8495 amplifier works exclusively with K-type thermocouples and is not compatible with other types. It pairs well with our 1m K-type thermocouple (sold separately). The amplifier offers a straightforward analog output for easy integration with microcontrollers.
