The FONA 808 uses the latest SIM808 GSM module, offering global connectivity via a quad-band frequency (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and a fully integrated MT3337 GPS chipset with impressive tracking sensitivity and accuracy. This makes it perfect for a variety of mobile and tracking applications, though note that 2G networks are being phased out in the US over time, so this module may not be suitable for long-term use in the country.
