The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 Passive Cooler is an essential accessory for maximizing the performance and longevity of your Compute Module 5. Designed specifically for passive thermal management, this precision-engineered aluminium heatsink efficiently dissipates heat from the CPU, wireless module, and power management chip—helping your CM5 run cooler, more reliably, and at sustained performance levels without the need for active cooling.
A layer of pre-fitted thermally conductive silicone on the underside of the cooler ensures tight thermal coupling with the key components of the CM5, ensuring optimal heat transfer and protection from mechanical stress. The cooler is fully compatible with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 IO Board and can be installed inside the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 IO Case (note: the IO case fan must be removed for proper fitting).
Whether you’re building embedded applications or deploying CM5 in thermally constrained environments, the Passive Cooler is the ideal solution for robust and silent thermal management.
