  • PWM Rate: The PWM rate of ~400 Hz works well for static displays, but if you’re moving the LEDs, you may notice some flickering. For smoother transitions, consider using DotStars, which offer a 20 KHz PWM rate for smoother animations.
  • Easy to Control: With built-in shift-registers, you only need one digital output pin to control the entire ring. Once the color is set, the LEDs handle the PWM internally, so no further communication is needed.
  • Pre-assembled and Tested: This NeoPixel Ring comes fully assembled and tested, so it’s ready to use right out of the box.
