Description

The SCD41 CO2 Sensor Breakout is a true carbon dioxide sensor that detects CO2 levels between 400 and 5,000 ppm. It is mounted on a Breakout Garden and is Qwiic/STEMMA QT-compatible, making it easy to integrate into various microcontroller projects.

This sensor uses advanced photoacoustic technology (PASens®) for high accuracy measurements of carbon dioxide, temperature, and relative humidity. It is suitable for monitoring air quality, ventilation efficiency, and occupancy in homes, workplaces, schools, and even industrial or laboratory settings.

Key Features:

  • Sensirion SCD41 carbon dioxide sensor with photoacoustic sensor technology (PASens®)
  • High accuracy: ±(40 ppm + 5 %)
  • Detection range: 400 ppm – 5,000 ppm
  • I2C interface with address 0x62
  • Qwiic/STEMMA QT connector for easy plug-and-play
  • Compatible with 3-5V systems
  • Reverse polarity protection on Breakout Garden connector
  • Raspberry Pi-compatible pinout (pins 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)
  • Includes 1x5 male header and 1x5 female right angle header for easy Raspberry Pi GPIO connection
  • Compatible with Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi Pico, and other RP2040 boards with Python, C++, and MicroPython libraries

Kit Includes:

  • SCD41 breakout board
  • 1x5 male header
  • 1x5 female right angle header

Dimensions: Approximately 24mm x 21mm x 8mm (L x W x H, including sensor)

Software: Python libraries and examples for Raspberry Pi, C++ and MicroPython libraries for Raspberry Pi Pico are available to quickly get sensor readings.
