4-pin AT/ATX/IDE Molex to Berg Floppy Drive Power Cable

For big projects with big power needs, an AT or ATX power supply is a convenient source for 5V or 12V DC power. This cable adapter allows you to connect the 4-pin Molex connector from your power supply to a Berg floppy drive power connector, enabling you to tap into 5V or 12V lines for your projects.

Perfect for powering LEDs, VFD/LCD displays, or other electronics, even while the computer is powered. The cable has a 4-pin Molex connector matching hard drive/CD-ROM power cables and a Berg Floppy Drive Power connector at the other end which can be cut off if not needed.

Note: On some older drives, the 12V supply may be unstable unless there's a significant current load on the 5V line. In such cases, adding a 10 ohm 10 Watt power resistor between ground and 5V can stabilize the 12V line.
