The Adafruit AS7262 6-Channel Visible Light / Color Sensor Breakout detects six visible light channels (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet) with high precision. It uses I2C for data transfer, offering raw 16-bit or calibrated floating-point values. The sensor also includes an on-board temperature sensor and an LED flash for improved color detection. Both I2C and UART interfaces are available, and the UART interface is compatible with the Adafruit FTDI Friend for easy connection. The breakout board also features a 3.3V regulator and SPI flash for firmware storage.
