Adafruit is excited to release a stylish case for the BeagleBone Black, designed by Mike Doell, the same creator behind our popular Raspberry Pi enclosures. This case is not only functional but also elegant, making it a beautiful addition to your desk with its modern square shape and glossy clear cover.
Key Features:
- Compatibility: Designed specifically for the BeagleBone Black (not compatible with the original BeagleBone).
- Easy Setup: Simply snap the BeagleBone Black into the bottom of the case for a secure press-fit. The top cover is optional — leave it off for easy access or attach it to protect your device while on the go.
- Convenience: All cables can be easily plugged in, and there's a handy divot for inserting/removing the optional microSD card.
- Shield Compatibility: The bottom half of the case is designed at the height of the female expansion header, allowing you to remove the clear top to add shields, even larger ones. The bottom provides protection and clearance.
- MicroHDMI Consideration: Some MicroHDMI cables with long rubber moldings may interfere with proper connection. If needed, carefully trim the rubber molding by about 1mm for better fit.
Note: The case does not come with the BeagleBone Black, but you can find it in our store if you need one!
Perfect for protecting your BeagleBone while keeping it easily accessible for your projects.
