Adafruit LiIon or LiPoly Charger BFF Add-On for QT Py

Is your QT Py all alone, lacking a friend to travel the wide world with? This LiIon or LiPoly Charger BFF Add-On is designed to fit onto the back of any QT Py board to provide portable power support. Simply plug any standard 3.7V/4.2V lithium polymer or lithium-ion rechargeable battery into the JST plug on the end. When powered by the USB port on the QT Py, the charger will charge the battery at a 200mA max rate, indicated by a yellow LED.

When USB power is removed, the battery will reverse charge into the 5V port via a Schottky diode. A built-in slide switch allows you to turn the power on or off. A voltage divider connected to pin A2 provides a way for your firmware to detect charging or battery power states.

This product comes as an assembled and tested PCB and is designed specifically for Adafruit LiPoly/LiIon batteries only. Batteries and QT Py are not included.
