Adafruit Wii Nunchuck Breakout Adapter - Qwiic / STEMMA QT

Dig out that old Wii controller and use it as a sleek controller for your next robot with the Adafruit Wii Nunchuck Breakout Adapter. This breakout fits snugly into the Wii connector and performs level shifting and power regulation needed to use the controller with any microcontroller or microcomputer.

The Wii controllers utilize a standard I2C interface and there is existing code available for Arduino and CircuitPython/Python for quick integration with Arduino UNO, Feather, or Raspberry Pi.

This breakout offers an X-Y joystick, two buttons, and an accelerometer all in a compact hand-held package with data transmitted over I2C at address 0x52 (fixed).

Features include extra thick 2.0mm PCBs with cut-outs for grabber-notches ensuring the controller connection is snug and secure. The breakout comes in the STEMMA QT form factor, compatible with SparkFun qwiic and STEMMA QT connectors, supporting both 5V and 3.3V logic levels.
