The Adalogger FeatherWing is an essential addition to any Feather board, enabling you to easily incorporate datalogging capabilities into your projects. This FeatherWing adds both a battery-backed Real Time Clock (RTC) and microSD card storage, making it perfect for applications where time tracking and data storage are key.

  • Real Time Clock: The Adalogger features the PCF8523 RTC with a 32KHz crystal and battery backup, ensuring your project keeps accurate time even when power is lost. A CR1220 coin cell is required to power the RTC, though it is not included by default for shipping convenience. If you're not using the RTC, you can leave the battery out.

  • MicroSD Storage: The FeatherWing comes with a microSD card socket connected to the SPI pins of the Feather board, allowing for easy storage of data logs or other files. Please note, microSD cards are not included.

  • Easy to Use: Simply connect the Adalogger FeatherWing on top of your Feather board using Feather Stacking Headers or Feather Female Headers. It’s compatible with all Feather boards and adds instant storage and timekeeping features.

  • Compact Design: This FeatherWing is designed to be compact, providing all the necessary functionality without taking up too much space in your project.

  • Optional Precision RTC: If you need even more precise timekeeping, consider our DS3231 FeatherWing, which offers a higher level of accuracy.

Technical Details:

  • PCB Dimensions: 50.8mm x 22.9mm x 1.6mm / 2" x 0.9" x 0.06"
  • Weight: 5.1g
  • Compatibility: Works with all Feather boards and includes resources such as datasheets, EagleCAD files, and Fritzing objects for easy integration.

With the Adalogger FeatherWing, you can quickly add datalogging functionality to your Feather projects, making it ideal for time-sensitive applications like environmental monitoring, logging sensor data, or any project where accurate timestamps are crucial.
