The ESP32 Development Board from Espressif is a powerful embedded platform that significantly advances IoT projects with WiFi capability, dual-core CPU, and a wide array of pins and peripherals. This board breaks out all module pins to 0.1" headers, includes a CP2102 USB-TTL serial adapter, programming and reset buttons, and a stable 3.3V power regulator to ensure reliable operation.

The ESP32 features a dual-core processor running at 160MHz, making it much more powerful than its predecessor, the ESP8266. Although aimed at developers, it supports many peripherals such as I2C, SPI, and analog inputs, with ongoing improvements through the ESP-IDF toolchain.

It fits precisely on a solderless breadboard, covering both sides with no leftover pins, making it ideal for prototyping.
