Description
The Kitronik Compact All-In-One Robotics Board transforms your BBC micro:bit into the core of various robotics projects. Despite its small footprint, this board offers extensive features and connectivity options, enabling control of 4 motors (or 2 stepper motors) and 8 servos, along with 17 additional I/O expansion points for sensors or output devices.
The board features 2 Dual H Bridge Motor Driver ICs and a 16 channel driver IC for servo control via the I2C protocol. The Link header provides breakout for all usable pins on the micro:bit and supports 2.54mm pitch pin headers. I2C communication lines are also broken out to allow other compatible devices to be controlled.
Power the board via a terminal block or servo style connector, with an on/off switch and power status LED. A regulated 3.3V supply powers the connected micro:bit, eliminating the need for separate power. External devices can also be powered via the 3V and GND pins broken out on the Link header.
Compatible with Microsoft MakeCode (custom Kitronik blocks available) and Python programming environments, this board is ideal for educational and engineering uses.
