Description
Experience vivid, high-contrast 16-bit color with the 1.27" Color OLED Breakout Board featuring a microSD holder and EYESPI connector.
The OLED display features 128x96 RGB pixels, each consisting of red, green, and blue OLEDs with 16-bit color resolution for an impressive range of colors and deep blacks due to OLED technology requiring no backlight.
This breakout includes the SSD1351 driver chip, which supports communication through 4-wire SPI. The fully assembled board comes with an OLED display, an onboard boost converter supplying 12V required by the screen, and a microSD card holder. Built-in logic level shifting allows operation with 3-5V power and logic levels. The EYESPI connector allows for easy cabling with an 18-pin 0.5mm pitch FPC cable, avoiding the need for soldering headers.
Open-source graphics libraries and example Arduino code are available for drawing pixels, shapes, text, and bitmaps, including reading images from the microSD card.
