Ideal for both beginners and advanced users, the AI Camera seamlessly augments still images and video with tensor metadata. This offloads AI processing, leaving the Raspberry Pi's main processor free to handle other tasks. The Raspberry Pi AI Camera works with popular libraries like libcamera and Picamera2, and supports the rpicam-apps suite, offering flexibility and power.

With its integrated low-power inference engine and pre-loaded MobileNet machine vision model, the camera is ready to use right out of the box. It’s perfect for a wide range of vision-based AI tasks, from object detection to facial recognition. The camera is compatible with all Raspberry Pi computers featuring a CSI camera connection, including the Raspberry Pi 5.
