The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 IO Board is the official development and reference platform for integrating the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5) into industrial and embedded applications. Designed to expose the full range of CM5’s powerful interfaces, this board enables engineers, developers, and OEMs to prototype, evaluate, and deploy solutions quickly and effectively.

With standard connectors, including full-size HDMI, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet with PoE+ support, and a 40-pin GPIO header, the IO Board mirrors the familiar Raspberry Pi 5 layout—making it a powerful, flexible alternative for advanced use cases. It even includes the Raspberry Pi power button for a convenient user interface.

The IO Board supports all CM5 variants, including Lite versions via a dedicated microSD card socket, and features a PCIe M.2 slot for high-speed expansion like NVMe storage or AI accelerators. Whether you’re working on automation, industrial control, or embedded computing, this IO Board provides everything you need to start building with CM5.
