RTC Battery for Raspberry Pi 5 ML2020 Rechargeable Lithium with 2-Pin JST

Keep your Raspberry Pi 5’s real-time clock running accurately—even when unplugged—with this ML2020 manganese rechargeable lithium battery, purpose-built to support the board's onboard RTC functionality. It’s an ideal solution for time-critical applications or offline systems where network-based time sync isn't available.

The battery features a pre-installed two-pin JST plug that connects directly to the Pi 5’s dedicated RTC battery header (labeled ‘BAT’, located beside the USB-C power port). A double-sided adhesive pad is included for secure mounting inside a case or custom project enclosure.

Once installed and charging is enabled via the Raspberry Pi firmware, the battery will automatically recharge during normal use and maintain RTC power when the Pi is off or disconnected.
