Rugged Latching Pushbutton in Black - RGB (16mm)

By popular demand, we now have latching rugged metal push buttons with a full color RGB LED ring light! These chrome-plated metal buttons are rugged yet stylish. Simply drill a 16mm hole into material up to 1/4" thick to install the button with included rubber gasket for water resistance.

The front features a flat metal actuator surrounded by a plastic RGB LED ring. The back has two gold contacts for the button and four for the RGB LED ring (one anode and three cathodes for red, green, blue). Power the anode at 3-6V, and control LED colors by pulling cathodes to ground; resistors are built in. For higher voltages (12V or 24V), add a 1K ohm resistor in series to limit LED current (~20mA). PWM the RGB pins for customizable colors.

This is a latching button where pressing once closes the circuit, pressing again opens it. The button switch and LED are electrically separate, enabling microcontroller control of both switch state and LED color.
