Description
Add a convenient power switch to any USB-powered project with this easy-to-use cable. Simply plug it between your USB power port and cable to control the power supply. This cable features an inline switch rated for 2 Amps that interrupts only the 5V power line; the data lines are not connected, making it suitable for power switching applications.
Features include a USB A plug on one end and a USB A socket on the other, and the switch is positioned on the positive 5V line. This is ideal for use with USB wall adapters or battery packs, especially for adding a hard power switch to devices like the Raspberry Pi. Note that this switch is not suitable for devices that require data line signaling for charging.
