Witty Pi 5 HAT+ - RTC & Power Management for Raspberry Pi

Witty Pi 5 HAT+ is a sophisticated add-on board for Raspberry Pi that integrates a high-precision real-time clock (RTC) and advanced power management features.

This fifth-generation Witty Pi board follows the Raspberry Pi HAT+ specification and supports all Raspberry Pi models with a 40-pin GPIO header, enabling versatile compatibility.

As a Mode 1 Power HAT+, Witty Pi 5 supplies up to 5A current to the Raspberry Pi and its peripherals, optimizing performance and power usage.

Key hardware features include:

• High-precision RTC with ±3.8 to 5 ppm accuracy
• Dedicated temperature sensor with 0.0625°C resolution
• Onboard DC/DC converter supporting up to 30V DC input
• Two ideal diodes for VIN and VUSB isolation
• RP2350 microcontroller with 16MB external flash memory
• ID EEPROM complying with HAT+ specification

Witty Pi 5 facilitates developer customization with fully open-source firmware and software available on GitHub. Firmware updates are straightforward via USB boot mode.

The board emulates both a USB flash drive and USB serial device, allowing easy configuration editing, log viewing, and real-time monitoring to simplify development and debugging.
